This library is a freely accessible collection of works for string instruments recommended for educational use. Before use, please read the Copyright policy.
- Copyright-free works may be downloaded by private persons in the field of music for educational purposes only, not for commercial use. If not all parts can be downloaded for works for several instruments, please use printed standard editions for the missing parts.
- Copyright-protected works appear with a description of the content and a brief excerpt providing information about the character of the work.
- Recommended websites can be reached via the link. They offer educational initiatives, exemplary audio and video recordings, etc.

This library conforms to Austrian copyright regulations. It may only be used for educational purposes by private individuals in the field of music education. Any use for commercial purposes is prohibited.
Download regulations
Copyright-free works that meet the following conditions are made downloadable:
- if the composer/author died at least 70 years ago,
- if the time of printing is at least 70 years ago,
- For works within the 70-year period: if the composers/ authors/publishers have given written permission to download these works,
- if composers/authors upload their own works and thus release them for use for educational purposes.
Copyright-protected works:
A short excerpt provides information about the content of the work.
Upload
Only private individuals in the field of music education are authorized to upload works. Uploads by companies, publishers or other commercial enterprises will not be accepted.
Consent declaration
By sending an upload or by downloading a work, the user of the website declares to fully comply with these copyright regulations.
